> Halloween Activities Little Leaf PileWhat's a little pile of leaves doing walking in your neighborhood, bucket in hand, going from door to door? Why, Trick-or-Treating of course! Who can resist this little leaf pile, rustling it's way to the front door, begging for goodies? Your neighborhood will be enchanted this year when you turn your little toddler into a cute pile of leaves. What You’ll NeedDark color old shirt that hangs down past child's knees, and pants.Fabric leaves (available in bags at craft stores). old scarf Fabric glue, or pins, or sewing is optional face paint (optional) in fall colors. InstructionsUsing fabric glue, pins, or needle and thread, attach "leaves" to old shirt. Overlap leaves well and be sure they fall past the hem and cuffs.Attach the "leaves" in the same fashion on a scarf folded into a triangle. Be sure to keep the tying ends free of leaves. Tie the scarf to your child's head, under chin, and your child is now a pile of leaves! You may want to use face paint and draw leaves on your child's face. |
