Make a Comet

What You’ll Need

1) Plastic Bottle
2) Knife or Scissors
3) Glue
4) Tissue Paper
5) Yarn

Instructions

1) Cut the top half off the clean bottle (this is the part that you will use for the project). Make sure you leave some of the curve. You may discard the bottom of the bottle.
2) Leave the cap on.
3) Glue the yarn around the rim of the bottle.
4) Cut several long strips of the tissue paper. Use different colors.
5) Glue the strips inside of the rim.
6) Let dry for 24 hours.
7) Hold your comet near the cap and send it flying.
