Make A Valentine PizzaKids love to eat and pizza is at the top of their list. If you are looking for something special to do for your children on Valentine’s Day why not help them make their own Valentine’s Pizza. It’s pretty easy, a lot of fun and the end result fills their heart with something special they will always remember - pizza and spending time with mom! What You’ll Need* Refrigerated pizza dough* Flour * Rolling pin * Heart shaped pizza pan * Jar pizza sauce * Shredded Mozzarella cheese * Assorted toppings DirectionsBuy the refrigerated pizza dough at the grocery store. It’s much easier for children to work with and will cause less mess for everyone in the end. Flour a flat surface and the rolling pin. Let the kids roll out the dough for their very own pizza. Place the dough into the heart shaped pizza pan.Now comes the real fun part. Let them smooth some sauce on their pizza dough. The toppings should be placed in individual bowls so access is easy. Let them go to town creating their own pizza. Have pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and all the different toppings they enjoy. Watch as they pile on their toppings and create their own personal pizza. Top each pizza with cheese and let them bake. Your children will be so pleased that they get their very own pizza made by their very own hands. Who knows maybe next year they will make a pizza just for you? |
