> Clifford the Big Red Dog Activities
Make Your Own Clifford StoryYour child will love making their own Clifford story to read to you over and over. What You’ll Need* Assorted colorful pictures of Clifford (could be from a coloring book or magazine or online)* Scissors * Paper or cardstock * Nontoxic white glue InstructionsChoose as many pictures of Clifford the Big Red Dog as you would like to use in your story (10 or so is a good amount). Glue each picture on a separate piece of paper or cardstock. After the glue is dry, arrange the pictures to make a story (any story you want!)A toddler can tell you the story and you can write the words underneath. An older child can write with you (perhaps even give the book as a gift to a younger sibling). This is a great craft activity plus it encourages creative thinking skills. Once you have a story, you can choose to staple those pages together, or keep them separate and make new stories – it’s up to you! |
