Mini Pinatas

These are colorful, fun to make, and easy for little ones to break and get the treats!

What You’ll Need

Styrofoam cups
Small treats
Confetti
Tape
Crepe paper
Glue
Pencil
String or yarn

Instructions

1. Fill the cups about 3/4 full with treats and confetti. If you don't have confetti, you can make your own by punching holes from colored or metallic paper and using the little circles that come out.

2. Tape the cups together, mouth-to-mouth.

3. Cut crepe paper into one-inch strips. Make small, half-inch fringes along the crepe paper. It's easiest to do this by keeping the crepe paper folded.

4. Tape or glue the crepe paper all around the cups. When they are all covered up, curl the fringes by rolling them on a pencil.

5. Tape a piece of string or yarn on one end of the cups and hang. Let children get the treats by pulling the mini pinatas and breaking them apart with their hands.
