One game that is always a favorite at a party is musical chairs. Kids love it because they can play, be a little rambunctious and have a lot of fun. Adapting it to your party theme is easy also.

How to Play

Remember that musical chairs is a game that eliminates one person at a time. So always start out with one less chair than you have players. Remove a chair before starting to play each new round.

You can adapt the chairs to your theme in some instances also. If you are having a sleep over party try finding bean bag chairs or use the children’s sleeping bags as the chairs. Even decorating the chairs to the theme can be a lot of fun for the kids.

The most important part of musical chairs is the music. This is easy to adapt to your theme. For instance if you are having a circus theme use circus music or maybe it’s a princesses them then use Disney music from movies that are about a princesses.

Playing musical chairs can so much fun for children. They will laugh and giggle and probably be a little disappointed when they don’t find a chair but in the end they will have a lot of fun and won’t feel left out of any of the day’s fun.
