New Year Wreath

You no doubt will have visitors come to your home either New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Why not greet them with a lovely homemade New Year Wreath hung on your front door. You can enlist the aid of your kids to help create this unique piece.

What You’ll Need

* Wire
* Construction paper, assorted colors
* Crayons
* Scissors
* Stapler

Instructions

Take wire and shape it in a circle. Twist both ends to secure. Give your kids some construction paper and using crayons, have them make a Happy New Year sign. Place the sign in the center of the wire, and fold the four corners over the wire and staple the corners to the construction paper.

To finish the wreath, use whatever garland you have and cover the entire border of the wreath, and staple.
