New Year's Eve PartyMost people, these days, stay home for New Year's Eve. They invite their family and friends to come to their home to celebrate and bring in the New Year. Decorating for the party can be fun, especially if you ask the kids to help. Here are a few ideas. What You’ll Need* Streamers* Balloons * Magic Marker, different colors * Paper Plates * Glue * Confetti While you are decorating your home with streamers and balloons, why not have the kids make their own decorations. Using different color magic markers, have the kids decorate paper plates with Happy New Year signs and 2007 signs. On the outer edge of the plates, the kids can apply glue and sprinkle confetti to give the plates a festive look. The kids can also write on the balloons using magic markers.
Hang the plates aroud your home, or string them up by placing them in a central location. Your kids will be so proud when you tell them how many compliments you received on the decorations. |
