> Christmas Activities NY City Trip to Rockefeller CenterEvery year, thousands of people come from all over the world to see the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Yet, many of those who live in the NYC area, have never seen the tree.
Make a special family outing during the Christmas holidays to visit the tree, or take the kids ice skating at the Rink in Rockefeller Center. Walk along Fifth Avenue to see all of the magnificent store decorations, most of which are animated. Your kids will never forget this experience. Of course, if a trip to New York City is too expensive, then the same rules apply. Walk down your city street and enjoy all the decorations. Make a point to drive around and see the lights. If your town has a winter parade or a ceremonial "lighting of the town tree" take the family and enjoy it. They'll certainly remember the cold noses and the smiles you shared while you were there. |
