Outdoor Painting Fun

This is a fun activity for an outdoor birthday party such as a swimming party!

What You’ll Need

Plain white shower curtain
Poster paint
Water
Shallow plastic containers or paper plates
Sponges, paint brushes and other painting materials

Instructions

1. Lay the shower curtain on a flat, washable surface, such as your lawn or driveway.

2. Pour poster paints in shallow plastic containers or paper plates. Have buckets of water or a tap nearby so that the kids can clean up easily.

3. Have the children decorate the shower curtain by putting their hand and foot prints on it. They can also splash the paint on, splatter it on, or make prints with sponges, etc.

4. Allow the shower curtain to dry and then hang up to display -- or wash all the paint off and start all over again!
