Painted Glitter Hearts

These glittery hearts are the perfect Valentine's Day craft for your youngest child. Even a little one who can't use scissors yet can have an adult cut out the hearts for them and then they get to finger paint and sprinkle glitter all over the hearts! Glue some yarn on the back of the hearts and hang them all over the house to share your LOVE with the whole family!

What You’ll Need

construction paper
scissors
tempra paint
glitter
optional: yarn, ribbon, glue, if you want to hang up your creations

Instructions

Cut heart shapes out of construction paper.

Using the tempra paint, ‘finger-paint’ designs on hearts.

While the paint is still wet, sprinkle glitter on the hearts.

Optional: glue pieces of ribbon or yarn to hearts to hang
