> Birthday Theme Activities Painting Birthday PartyWhat child doesn't love to paint? Here is a fantastic birthday party idea for kids. Contact your local plaster craft store. They usually have a room set up to host birthday parties for kids.
Depending upon the size of the room, the store manager will tell you how many kids they can accommodate; and the amount of time the kids can spend there. (Usually 2-3 hours). Once the date is agreed upon, make homemade party invitations, and send the invitations out to friends. The invitations can be made on construction paper with pictures of easels and paint brushes. You can arrive early at the store and set up the room with balloons and a Happy Birthday sign. Once all the kids arrive, each child is allowed to choose a plaster craft and some paints. Most stores usually have a wide variety of plaster crafts; animals, flowers, cartoon characters, baskets, and vases. Once the kids choose the plaster craft and paints, they are seated at tables and can begin to paint. When the kids are finished with their project, each child can proudly sign their name to the painted plaster craft. Not only will they have a great time, but each child will be able to bring home their own work of art. This birthday party idea is always a winner. Next time you run out of ideas, think paint. |
