Paper Cats

Make several of these and have them stand guard at your doorstep.

What You’ll Need

Black construction paper
Stapler or tape
Silver or gold markers
Scissors
Glue
Pipe cleaners
Optional: glow-in-the-dark markers or paint

Instructions

1. Form a cone out of black construction paper. Tape or staple into shape.

2. Cut out a round shape for the cat's head. Glue or tape to the top of the cone. Also attach small triangular shapes for ears.

3. Using the silver or gold marker, draw eyes, a nose and a mouth. If desired, use a glow-in-the-dark marker or paint instead.

4. Cut pipe cleaner into six small pieces. Glue to the cat's face for whiskers.

5. Make several of these and leave on your front porch or windowsill.
