Paper Fan Christmas Tree

You'll want to experiment with the decorations on this 'tree' so much that you'll end up with dozens of these pretty little fan trees. If you make these Christmas trees out of construction paper, try decorating both sides using all your best glittery decorations. Hang it in front of a mirror and behold! What a lovely sight!

What You’ll Need

green construction paper
stapler
scissors
gold paper
metallic string
white glue
glitter glue
metalic markers
nylon string, yarn or ribbon
tape

Instructions

1. Accordion-fold the green construction paper. Or you could use red paper or even a piece of Christmas gift wrapping paper. Staple one end of the paper to make a fan. This will form your 'tree'.

2. Cut a star from gold paper. Glue to the top of the 'tree'. Add dabs of glitter glue to make Christmas ornaments. Attach lengths of metallic string or ribbon for a garland. Or draw the decorations using metallic markers.

3. Make a hanger by taping a length of nylon string, yarn or ribbon to the back of the tree.
