Paper Ornaments

What You’ll Need

Construction paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
Markers, crayons, glitter glue and other art supplies
Stickers
Gold or silver string
Optional: Christmas cookie cutters

Instructions

1. Cut out Christmas-themed shapes from the construction paper. You can either draw the shapes yourself or trace them from Christmas cookie cutters. Make Christmas trees, bells, stars, candy canes, wreaths and Santa's heads, reindeer, etc.

2. Decorate each ornament with markers, crayons, glitter glue, stickers and other art materials. The more colorful and the more sparkley, the better!

3. Punch a hole on top of each ornament.

4. Thread a piece of gold or silver string through the hole. Tie a knot and hang the ornaments on your tree!
