This is a quick and easy way to make a cow that can actually stand up and be played with. He can be the next animal in your farm set. Or you can make him into a mobile to hang from your ceiling.

Cardboard or cereal box
Markers

String or yarn

How To Make Your Paper Plate Cow

1. Fold the paper plate in half with the bottom of the plate facing the outside. This will be the cow's body. Draw and color black spots all over the cow's body. Or you may choose to have your own uniquely-colored cow. Hey, you never know when you're going to find a pink and yellow cow out there - it could happen!

2. Draw and cut out the cow's head, legs and tail from other cardboard available, such as a cereal box. Color those pieces to match your cow's body. Add googly eyes to the cow's head to bring him to life just that much more!

3. Glue the head, legs and tail onto the cow's body.

4. If desired, make a hanger for the cow. Punch a hole on top of the cow's body. Cut the string or yarn and tie around the hole to make a hanger.
