Pin the Tail on the ?As a child do you remember how much fun you had playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey? Not only was it fun trying to figure where the tail went but the laughs that erupted from everyone when you placed it on the Donkey’s face were hysterical. Even the gasps when you got it right on the money were something to hear. Today we have adapted this great game to fit just about any party theme or holiday. Here’s how. What You’ll NeedWhatever your theme may be you can play this game. For instance, if your child is having a circus party you can play Pin the Nose on the Clown or if you are having a party that is based around Pirates you can play Pin the Patch on the Pirates Eye. Whatever your theme may be try to single out what the children will be looking for as a prominent part of the theme.Be sure that you have enough room for the children to play and adjust your area to fit the size of your children. If they are smaller children place the target lower and vice versa for older and taller children. Also be sure to adjust the way the part is attached. Older children can use push pins but younger children need to have tape so they don’t injure themselves. The same with using a blind fold. It’s not so much the blindfold itself as to the tightness of the blind fold. Some smaller children may be okay with having their eyes covered as long as it doesn’t fit to tight around their heads. Also be careful when it comes to the spinning around. Small children have a tendency to get a little squeamish when spun around in circles. Playing Pin the Tail on the ? is a fun game for all who play it. Being sure it matches your theme and is easy for all the children attending makes it a game that will last in their minds forever and is talked about for days to come. |
