How about creating a pendant for each planet and turning your friends into our solar system! What You’ll Needold newspaperblue yarn glue blue and green paints paintbrushes Instructions1. Crumple a piece of newspaper into a small ball. Cut the yarn into a piece long enough to tie around the ball and to form a necklace. Tie it around the ball and then knot the ends together to make a necklace.2. Tear newspaper into small strips about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. Glue all around the ball you made in Step 1, making sure the yarn remains free to hang. Allow to dry completely. 3. When the globe is dry, paint it blue and green to look like the Earth. Let dry. 4. Wear your pendant to celebrate Earth Day. Or create one pendant for each planet and turn your friends into our solar system! |
