Garden Activities Plant Watermelon Seeds With Your Kids
When I was a kid, my grandmother had a huge garden. I would enjoy the days watching her plant her flowers and vegetables. One day, I asked if I could plant watermelon seeds. She gave me a little patch of ground, and showed me how to properly plant seeds. Even though the seeds I used were from a watermelon, she knew the only thing that would grow would be a plant. But she encouraged me anyway, and my love for planting began.
Take time out to teach your kids how to plant seeds, flowers or whatever they choose. Not only it is a learning experience, but the excitement of seeing their first seedling is like no other.
