> Princess Activities A Princess' Bead CurtainPretty and whimsical, this bead curtain is fit for a princess! What You’ll NeedDrinking straws in your favorite colorsScissors String or yarn Strong cord Nails and hammer or strong tape Instructions1. Cut drinking straws into small pieces, about 1/2 inch long. These are your beads.2. Cut the string or yarn into the length you want the curtain to be, adding about two inches. Tie one end of string around one bead. 3. Thread the rest of the string through the beads. Try to make pretty patterns out of the different-colored beads. Leave at least one inch free on the other end . 4. Cut the cord as wide as where you will be putting up the curtain (such as a doorway) plus two inches extra. 5. Make more strings/yarns of beads. Tie along the length of the cord. 6. Attach the cord along the doorway either with a nail on each end or strong tape. |
