Make this really cool pull-along train that you can have tons of fun playing with for days and days!!

Pull-Along Train Parts

Toilet paper cardboard tubes, 2 for the train engine
and 1 for each train car
Construction paper
Index cards or cereal boxes
Glue
Markers
Yarn or string
Tape

How To Make Your Pull-Along Train

1. To make the train engine, cut one toilet paper tube so that one piece is shorter than the other. Tape or glue the shorter piece along one side of the uncut tube. Glue the longer piece behind the shorter piece. Decorate the train engine using markers.

2. To make the train car, take 3 index cards or cut cereal boxes into rectangles. Cut out train wheels from construction paper. Glue the wheels on each index card or rectangle. Decorate the sides of the train car with markers. Attach one index card or rectangle on either side of a toilet paper tube. Take another index card or cut another rectangle from the cereal box and glue to the top of the train car. Make as many train cars as desired.

3. Line up the train cars behind the train engine. Cut the yarn so that it is long enough to go through all the tubes underneath the train cars and train engine with about 12 inches extra for pulling.

4. Tape one end of the yarn inside the tube of the last train car. Thread the yarn through all train cars and out the front of the train engine. Now you can pull the train along!
