Puppet Theater

Stuck indoors on a rainy day? This activity will keep you busy for hours!

What You’ll Need

Large cardboard box, such as from a large appliance
Craft knife
Poster paints
Paintbrushes
Markers
Scrap fabric or crepe paper
Glue

Instructions

1. Cut off one long side from the cardboard box. On the opposite side, cut out a square shape. This will be the stage.

2. Paint the outside of the cardboard box with your desired colors. Decorate with paint, markers, or other decorating materials you have.

3. Make a small curtain from scrap fabric or crepe paper. Glue into place.

4. Gather your puppets and create a theater performance. Stuffed toys make good actors too!
