> Birthday Theme Activities Puzzle InvitationsWant to put together an invitation for your child’s birthday party that will blow everyone away? Try this puzzle invitation. This is a sure way to have everyone working hard at figuring out what’s going on and having a great time while doing it. What You’ll Need* Card stock or poster board* Pen * Scissors * Birthday stickers or theme stickers Start by having your children cut out pieces of card stock or poster board. Make sure the card stock is big enough for all the details of the party to fit on. They also want to leave a little extra room to place stickers on the card.
Write the information about the party on the card. Be sure to write this all down on a piece of paper first. That way the kids will have a template to copy from and you will know that all the information is there for each invitation. Once all the information is listed, start cutting out the puzzle pieces. These pieces need to be large enough that they can be put together by their guests but not too large. You want to make this a challenge for the party guests to put together, but not so difficult that they can't do it and don't attend the party. Once all the puzzle pieces have been cut place them in an envelope that has been addressed to each guest. Mail the envelope with instructions that this is a puzzle for them to put together to get all the information about the party. Now you and your children just sit back and listen to the phone calls and the pats on the back at the fun and exciting invitations the guests received and how much fun they had putting the pieces of the puzzle together. |
