> Easter Day Activities Race Car Easter BasketsDo you have a racing fanatic in your home? With racing coming to the forefront of sports these days many children boys and girls alike are becoming infatuated with it. If you have one of these children in your home and they are beyond the normal stuffed bunny Easter basket why not give them a race car Easter basket this year?
Look for a replica of your child’s favorite race driver’s car. You can usually find these at places like Wal-Mart. Many times you can find them in metal or plastic. There is no need to add Easter grass to this type of basket. If you want to give it some effects of being on an asphalt surface take a piece of cardboard and color it gray. Use other color markers to make it look like the pit area of a race track. Some things that you can attach to the race car for their basket are smaller versions of the car or even sports cards. Racing has really taken hold of the sports world and they now have their own trading cards. Add to the cards a nice photo album for them to store their new cards in. Some stores even sell racing action figures. You can find the driver, their pit crew and even in some instances the car owners. Add a set of flags and a small pace car and your child can have their own race track right at home. Get them a hat or a shirt of their favorite driver to add to the basket. Speaking of race tracks you can find a race track that is a replica of one of the many tracks they race at today. Wouldn’t that be a great gift for your racing enthusiast? Don’t forget the candy. Many stores sell candy that look like race cars and even the drivers. No matter what you add to your child’s race car basket they are sure to like it and talk about it for a long time to come. |
