Recycled Junk Frame

This Earth Day craft can be made any time of the year to teach your child about recycling. The supplies are all things you have around your house and the craft turns out really cute.

What You’ll Need

Corrugated cardboard (or cardstock)
Glue
Scissors
Pictures out of magazines or Pictures of you
Junk: You can use coke bottle lids, plastic toys, paper and cut it up to little pieces, broken jewelry pieces, plastic, tree bark, rocks, etc...

Magnets are optional for the back if you want to place on refrigerator.

Make your Junk Picture Frame:

1) Cut the corrugated cardboard into two squares. Make sure the frame is a little bigger than your picture. ( Instead of using squares, you can make heart shapes, circles, rectangle.)

2) Cut the window out of the paper for your picture.

3) Glue the cardboard together on 3 sides.

4) Slide your picture in the remaining open side.

5) If you want to place frame on the refrigerator, Glue a magnet on the back of the frame.
