Scary Ghost Brownies

Want to do something a little different for your Halloween treats this year? Why not surprise your children with Ghost brownies. These are fun to make and your children will wonder just how you did it.

What You’ll Need

* Box brownie mix
* Sharp paring knife or thick ghost cookie cutter
* White chocolate
* Icing piping bag or large freezer bag
* Any color decorating gel

Directions

1. Start by making the brownies as directed on the box.

2. After the brownies are done be sure to allow them to cool to room temperature before cutting.

3. Once the brownies have cooled, use the paring knife to cut ghost shapes.

4. If you have a thick ghost cookie cutter you can use it but be sure to spray it with a cooking spray before you cut the brownie.

5. After you have made the ghosts take the white chocolate and place it in a microwave safe bowl.

6. Microwave on high about 2 to 3 minutes or until the chocolate is melted completely.

7. Allow chocolate to cool.

8. Place the melted chocolate into the piping bag or cut a corner out the bottom of a freezer bag and fill with the chocolate.

9. Pipe the chocolate around the outer edge of the ghost brownie. If you would prefer you can take the melted chocolate and spread it evenly all over the brownie to make the ghost effect.

10. Then use the different colored gels to make the ghosts eyes and mouth.

11. There you have them, ghost brownies. Won’t your children be surprised!
