Silver Robot

Those odds and ends lying around your house just might be the right materials to create a shiny robot!

What You’ll Need

Boxes of assorted sizes
Aluminum foil
Scissors
Glue
Plastic bottle caps
Plastic spoons or forks
Colored paper

Instructions

1. Decide which boxes you will use to put together the robot. Use a large box for the body and smaller boxes for the head and legs. Don't forget the power pack.

2. Tape the boxes closed. Wrap with foil, or paint with silver paint.

3. Glue the boxes together, according to your design.

4. Glue bottle caps to the sides of the body to form non-working hinges for the arms. Use the plastic spoons or forks for the arms.

5. Glue other bottle caps onto the power pack, or other parts of the robot.

6. Cut eyes, mouth and other features out of colored paper. Glue into place.
