Spring is Popping Out

Give your preschool child a head start for school.

This popcorn flower looks almost good enough to eat. Make sure the children know the paint is not edible during the making of this project.

What You’ll Need

Gather together popped popcorn, powdered paint, construction paper and poster board.

Instructions

Get a plastic bag and put into it the powdered paint and some popped popcorn and then shake well, make some noise like popping corn!

Using green construction paper, cut out stems and leaves for your flowers; glue them to poster board.

Draw outlines of large flowers onto your poster board, and then glue the popcorn onto your flowers.
