St. Patrick's Day Hat Craft

Sport this St. Patrick's Day hat with a smile and a bit of luck just might come your way.

What You’ll Need

* Construction Paper (Green and Black)
* Tape
* Glue
* Paper plate

Instructions

Tape two pieces of green construction paper together end to end to create an approximately 14” tall piece.

Fold side to side creating a cylinder shape.

Tape the sides together.

Trace the paper plate shape on a new sheet of green construction paper to create the top for your hat.

Cut the circle out and tape to the top of the hat.

To create the brim of the hat, cut a bigger circle out of green construction paper, leaving a whole big enough for your head.

Apply glue to the brim and attach hat to brim.

While waiting for glue to dry, you can create the buckle for your hat.

Cut a wide strip from the black construction paper.

Cut a square out of the middle of the strip to represent the actual buckle itself.

Glue or tape the buckle to the front of the hat above the brim.
