Tabletop Christmas Trees

Easy to make yet elegant, you'll be proud to display these on the buffet table!

What You’ll Need

Bristol board
Metallic paper in deep colors - red, green, blue, purple
Scissors
Glue
Metallic string
Small Christmas ornaments, beads or sequins

Instructions

1. Cut and staple the bristol board into cone shapes of various heights.

2. Cut the edge of the cones straight so that they can stand on a surface.

3. Cover the cones with metallic paper.

4. Wrap metallic string loosely around the cones. Try using several pieces of string in different colors on one cone and see if you like the effect.

5. If desired, continue to decorate the cones with small Christmas ornaments, beads or sequins.

6. These make a great centerpiece!
