Do you have a future scientist in the house? If you do they are probably at an age where the typical Easter basket has worn out it fun. Putting together an Easter basket that will appeal to them and their likes can be as easy to do as tying your shoe.

Many department stores sell science kits. This type of kit would make a great basket. These types of kits come with many different themes. Maybe your little scientist is into experimenting. Find a kit that has all the items necessary to do simple experiments right there at home.

If your child is into rocks and all the great scientific things that goes with rocks find them a kit that will help them discover different types of rocks. Believe it or not there are many things to know about that rock collection they have stored in their sock drawer.

If you have an archaeologist on your hands find one that has to do with dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are a great thing for children to investigate and learn about. Some even have ways for the kids to dig up bones just like an archaeologist might do.

You can also include things like a magnifying glass or a small telescope in their basket. Books about their scientific interests are always a good addition. They can read about their interest and learn exactly what they want to know to further their interest.

Add a few dinosaur shaped cookies, bug candy and a few gummy worms and your scientist will be in seventh heaven with their Easter basket. What fun they can have and what learning experience for them and all the while they have made it so easy on the Easter bunny this year.
