After the orange paint dries, paint the top of the acorns green (for the stem of the pumpkin). Allow to dry thoroughly. Options: Of course, you can also turn these little acorns into jack-o-lanters. Simply take a black Sharpie marker and add a face. Or your little pumpkin can wear a mask -- again, draw a "Zorro" type mask on your tiny pumpkin. How adorable would these be as a necklace? A preschool child could paint the pumpkins and then an adult could hot glue them to a piece of ribbon to hang around a favorite teacher's neck. |
