Tiny Pumpkins

What You’ll Need

* Acorns
* Orange paint
* Green paint

Instructions

Lay acorns on a sheet of newspaper.

Paint the bottom of the acorns with orange paint.

After the orange paint dries, paint the top of the acorns green (for the stem of the pumpkin).

Allow to dry thoroughly.

Options: Of course, you can also turn these little acorns into jack-o-lanters. Simply take a black Sharpie marker and add a face. Or your little pumpkin can wear a mask -- again, draw a "Zorro" type mask on your tiny pumpkin.

How adorable would these be as a necklace? A preschool child could paint the pumpkins and then an adult could hot glue them to a piece of ribbon to hang around a favorite teacher's neck.
