Treasure Those Hand Print T ShirtsA fun craft for a toddler and a keepsake for you are those cute hand print t-shirts. Kids have a blast making them and parents have even more fun showing them off and looking at them for years to come. What You’ll Need*T-shirt any color*Washable fabric paint *Shallow bowls *Permanent marker InstructionsPlace the paint in the shallow bowls. Lay the T-shirt out flat. Have your child place their hand in the paint. Don’t worry it will wash off easily.Have them lay their hand flat on the T-shirt. They can press down slightly to be sure their whole hand leaves an imprint on the shirt. Be sure to wash their hand with soap and water to remove the paint. Let them do the same thing with their hand. They can use the same color or a different color whichever you both prefer. If they want they can do it on both sides of the shirt. Just be sure the first side is dry before attempting the other side. Another idea is to let them place a thumb print and finger prints on the shirt. They can make different designs such as flowers, caterpillars or use their imagination to make up their own designs. Once the shirt is completely dry you can use the marker to place their name, age and the date on the shirt. This way everyone will be able to remember the day that they had fun making their hand print T-shirt. It will also help you to remember for years to come. These also make great presents for grandparents. Let the kids use an adult T-shirt for this project. |
