Valentine's Day Bingo

Playing games with your family is a terrific activity for celebrating Valentine's Day. It is a great way to spend time with the ones you love and a lot of fun! One game I like to play with my family is Valentine's Day Bingo.

How to Play

First, you will need to prepare the game for your family. You need to make a bingo card on a piece of paper. Make sure each card is a little different. Instead of using numbers, use words such as love, kiss, hug, affection, Valentine, chocolate, candy, heart, smile, cards, like, admire, etc. Don't forget the free square in the center. For each word that is used on the cards, write it down on a little piece of paper and put it into a container.

Use the little red-hot heart candies as markers for the cards.

Now, your family is ready to play. Pass out the cards to everyone in your family. Give each person a few candy hearts (remind them not to eat them until the game is over) to use as their markers. Have one person pick the words out of the container and call them out to the rest of the family. Cover the words called out with a piece of candy. When someone has a completed line up and down, sideways or diagonally, they need to call out bingo. They are the winner. You should have some sort of prize for the winner such as a box of chocolates, movie tickets, or a gift certificate.

Your family will enjoy playing Valentine's Day Bingo. Your children will appreciate the work you put into making their Valentine's Day special. And most important, you will enjoy the time your family spends together.
