> Valentine's Day Activities Valentine's Day Heart WreathWhat a wonderful way to show your love! Make a Valentine’s Day Heart Wreath with little hearts all over for each person you love with their names written on it. Hang your "I Love You" wreath on your front door or any prominent place in your home to remind your children of all the people that love them, too! What You’ll NeedA paper plateRed and pink construction paper Scissors Glue Pencil Markers Instructions1. Cut out large hole in the center of the paper plate.2. Use a pencil to trace hearts on red and pink construction paper and cut out the hearts. 3. Have your children write the names of the people they love on each of the different hearts in marker (Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, Teachers, Friends, etc.) 4. Talk to your children about why they love each person and what makes each person special. 5. Glue the hearts to the rim of the paper plate. 6. Your children can embellish their Valentine’s Day Heart Wreath with stickers or glitter if you like. The entire family can make one wreath or each child can make his or her own. |
