> Rainy Day Activities Visit a Children's MuseumVisiting a museum with your child can be a very fun and educational experience. Children's museums can have a lot of educational exhibits your child will enjoy. They also have many hands on exhibits for your kids.
There are many different things to do at a children's museum. Most of them have art rooms where your child can draw, paint with watercolors, finger paint, model clay, and much more. They may have a music room with different instruments your child can try out and some even have a karaoke machine your child can sing with. Some children's museums have computer rooms where your child can play educational games on the computers. They may have shows your child can participate in. One children's museum I know of has a man-made cave they can explore and learn about. Your children's museum might also offer a science room where the children can participate in different science experiments. How do you decide which children's museum your family would like to visit? Check in your local phone book, newspaper, and the internet. You may also check with you kid's school. They may have a few ideas as well. Compare prices and what is offered to help decide which is the right one for your family. |
