When you come home and find a big red Valentine heart filled with your children's little messages of love and appreciation, YOUR heart will just fill with love, too! This is a great Valentine gift for anyone who has to spend time away from those they love most.

What You’ll Need

* Red, pink, white construction paper
* Pen or marker for writing
* Clear Glue
* Glitter
* Hole punch
* String, yarn, or ribbon to hang

Instructions

Cut a big heart out of the red construction paper.

Cut small hearts for each child out of pink or white construction paper. Be sure all the hearts will fit on the big heart.

Have each child write a loving message on his/her small heart.

Glue small hearts on big heart.

Put glue all over the card and sprinkle with glitter.

Punch a hole in the top of the heart.

Thread with yarn, string, or ribbon and hang it so Mom or Dad can see it as soon as they walk through the door.

Note: This would be a great Valentine for a parent whose job requires much travel. It would also be a wonderful gift for someone who had a hospital stay (perhaps for a new baby). Or for a soldier returning home.
